2014 Holiday Candlelight Memorial Service
A worldwide candle lighting is held every year on the second Sunday in December. As candles burn down in one time zone, they are lighted in the next, creating a 24 hour wave of light that encircles the globe. Please join us in the Good Samaritan Hospital auditorium on Sunday, December 14, at 5:30 p.m. The program will include music and speakers, followed by the lighting of the candles at 7 pm.
Refreshments and memorial ornaments will be available after the program. Due to the nature of the program and the sensitivity of those attending, this event is not suitable for babies and small children.
In case of inclement weather, please call the hospital at 845-368-5000. The operator will be notified of a cancellation by 2PM.
Anyone desiring to speak, sing or read during the program is asked to contact Mary Radatovich or Lee DeNigris at 845-368-5297. Those not able to attend may participate by lighting a candle, wherever they are, at 7PM.
