Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, New York, is a non-profit, 370-bed hospital providing emergency, medical, surgical, obstetrical / gynecological and acute care services to residents of Rockland and southern Orange Counties in New York; and northern Bergen County, New Jersey. The hospital also serves these communities as an Area Level II Trauma Center.
Good Samaritan Hospital provides regional specialty services, including comprehensive cancer treatment services; cardiac care programs which include an active cardiac catheterization laboratory; electrophysiology studies; maternal/child services, including a high level II special care nursery and the Children's Diagnostic Center, which utilizes the services of pediatric subspecialists from Westchester County Medical Center. The hospital also provides social, psychiatric and substance abuse services for the area and kidney dialysis services through its Frank and Fannie Weiss Renal Center. Good Samaritan Hospital Certified Home Care Agency provides home health care services.
