Wendy Shindler is a registered nurse with 17 years experience. She has been the Good Samaritan Hospital Trauma Nurse Coordinator and Rockland County Safe Kids Coordinator since 1999. In 2000 she became the NYS Safe Kids Coordinator.

In addition, she has conducted numerous injury prevention programs in the county including bike rodeos, car seat check up events and health fairs.
