Early Intervention Program
Serving Rockland, Orange and Northern Bergen Counties
The Early Intervention Program at Good Samaritan Hospital can help children 0-3 years of age with developmental delays. Children can be seen in our interactive outpatient facility or in the convenience of their own home. We encourage participation of parents in the customized home exercise program designed to assist children in achieving the goals set by your family and the therapist.
The Early Intervention Program provides a wide range of services:
Our staff consists of caring professionals, licensed and registered in New York State. When we first meet with you and your child, a comprehensive evaluation is conducted to develop a treatment plan designed to meet your child's needs. This generally takes one hour. Treatment sessions are then approximately 30-60 minutes depending on the diagnosis and the treatment plan set up by the therapist.
Early Intervention services are referred from the Department of Health for Rockland and Orange County, New York and do not require any out of pocket expenses for the child's family.
