Fall Golf and Tennis Classic
raises record $245,000
The 18th Annual Good Samaritan Hospital & The Journal News/Lohud.com Fall Classic held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at the Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, NJ raised $245,000 for the hospital’s Emergency Department expansion, the highest amount ever raised in the history of Good Sam’s Fall Classic!
Congratulations to the Fall Classic/Miracles Committee and Co-Chairs Scott Bernstein, M.D., Beth Hecht, Esq., Gayle Hirsch, Esq., and Neale Kuperman for leading the committee through another successful event.
More than 200 physicians, community and business leaders attended the sold-out event which included an elite 18-hole golf tournament, a 9-hole scramble, and Round-Robin Tennis Tournament administered by Tennis Pro Marc Verebey. Dennis Doyle of O’Connor, McGuinnes, Conte, Doyle & Oleson won a car on the Hole-In-One from Rockland Toyota! Dr. Tom Snopek, Lewis Broslovsky, Schuyler Newman and Jason Pucci are the recipients of the Jim Jones Cup Challenge. Click here to view a list of all golfers and tennis winners.
