Pastoral Care | Meet the Pastoral Care Team
Pastoral Care provides spiritual support and guidance to ill and dying patients, their families and our staff. Pastoral Caregivers, working closely with physicians and nurses, play an important role in the holistic care that we strive to provide to our patients. They are a resource available 24-hours a day, seven days a week to listen, offer prayer, ease stress, teach coping skills, and help patients and families deal with ethical and end-of-life issues.
Pastoral Care providers work with patients of all denominations. Ordained clergy, sisters, and rabbis serve as chaplains, assisted by lay volunteers. Our chaplains are members of several hospital committees, including Cancer, Ethics, Pain Management, Trauma, Administrative Council and Patient Satisfaction.
Chapel Services are provided: Mass, Monday through Friday, 12 noon; Saturday, 8pm; Sunday, 10:30am; Rosary, Tuesday, 7:30am. The Chapel is located to the right of the Information Desk in the lobby. The Jewish Meditation room is directly inside the front entrance.
