Intensive Care Unit/Cardiac Care Unit (ICU/CCU):
6:30-7am and 10am-9pm No visitors from 7-8am and 7-8pm.
No one under 12 yrs, immediate family only.
Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU):
10am-9pm No visitors from 6-8am. No one under 12 yrs,
immediate family only.
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU):
12 noon-7pm No one under 12 yrs, immediate family only.
Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization (PPCC):
6:00am-8:00pmn
Maternity: 11:30am-9:30pm
1-3pm “Mommy& Me” (other parent only)
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - closed during change of shift.
Hand washing is required before touching or handling the new baby. Help us protect our precious new babies.
Chemical Dependency Unit:
Visitors must call ext. 5153. Saturdays: 1-3pm
Telephone Hours
The hours of 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m-11pm have been designated as the time for families to call unit for an update on patient condition.
One spokesperson from each family should be designated to call. This individual will then inform other concerned family/friends.
Families are encouraged to contact their physician during their office hours for information regarding tests and results.

Good Samaritan Hospital is located 30 miles north of New York City, in the southwest portion of Rockland County, New York, and just one mile from Bergen County, New Jersey.
From the Tappan Zee Bridge
(from Westchester County and points southeast)
- From the Tappan Zee Bridge toll plaza, continue northwest approximately 14 miles on 287/87 (New York State Thruway).
- Take Exit 14B and go to the traffic light. At the traffic light, make a left onto Airmont Road.
- Proceed to the second traffic light and make a right onto Route 59 (Lafayette Avenue).
- Proceed approximately one mile. Good Samaritan Hospital is on the left side of Route 59. Park in visitor's lot and proceed to information desk in lobby.
From the Garden State Parkway North
(from New Jersey)
- Take the Garden State Parkway North.
Proceed onto Route 287/87, also known as the New York State Thruway, following signs to Albany. Proceed to Exit 14B.
- At the traffic light, make a left onto Airmont Road.
- Proceed to the second traffic light and make a right onto Route 59 (Lafayette Avenue).
- Proceed approximately one mile. Good Samaritan Hospital is on the left side of Route 59. Park in visitor's lot and proceed to information desk in lobby.
From the Palisades Interstate Parkway North
(from Bergen County, lower Rockland and New York City)
- Take the Palisades Interstate Parkway north to Exit 9W (Albany - Route 287/87 - New York State Thruway).
- Proceed on the New York State Thruway to exit 14B.
- At the traffic light make a left onto Airmont Road.
- Proceed to the second traffic light and make a right onto Route 59 (Lafayette Avenue).
- Proceed approximately one mile. Good Samaritan Hospital is on the left side of Route 59. Park in visitor's lot and proceed to information desk in lobby.
From Route 17 North
(from Bergen County and Orange County)
- Follow signs to New York State Thruway (287/87) southeast. Signs will indicate New York City.
- Proceed to Exit 14B and at the traffic light make right onto Airmont Road.
- Proceed to the first traffic light and make right onto Route 59 (Lafayette Avenue).
- Proceed approximately one mile. Good Samaritan Hospital is on the left side of Route 59. Park in visitor's lot and proceed to information desk in lobby.
From Route 4
(Ramsey/ Mahwah area)
- Continue on Route 17N for 7-8 miles.
- Follow signs for Route 202-Suffern, just past the Toyota Dealership and Quest Fitness Center on the right.
- Continue bearing right and follow H signs, this becomes Washington Avenue.
- At the end is Sacred Heart School/ Church and a light - make right turn.
- Continue for approximately 1 mile on Route 59 (Lafayette Ave). Hospital is on the right. Park in visitor's lot and proceed to information desk in lobby.
