Palliative Care at Good Samaritan Hospital
aims to relieve suffering and improve quality of life
for patients with advanced illness as well as their families. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified healthcare professionals and is especially helpful for patients with such chronic and progressive conditions as cardiac disease, respiratory difficulties, cancer, renal difficulties and HIV/AIDS.

Good Samaritan Hospital’s Palliative Care program can give you and your loved ones a better understanding of the future course of your illness and can help you make decisions
regarding your living situation — continuing to live at home, the need for home healthcare services, assisted living, etc. Togetherwith your physician, we will develop a well-rounded Palliative Care program that will not only relieve your pain, but will address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of you and your loved ones.
