SIX PHYSICIANS JOIN ST. ANTHONY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

WARWICK (June 10) – Six physicians have recently joined the active medical staff of St. Anthony Community Hospital, a member of Bon Secours Charity Health System, in Warwick, NY.

Raafat Barsoom, MD, FACEP is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Barsoom earned his Medical Degree at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He completed his General Surgery and Emergency Residency programs at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.

Dorian Gomez, MD, is Board Certified in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine and Internal Medicine. Dr. Gomez earned her Medical Degree at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan. She completed her residency at Cabrini Medical Center in New York City, where she was awarded a Pulmonary Fellowship. Dr. Gomez also served as a Chief Fellow in Critical Care at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.

Leonid Izikson, MD, is a Diplomate with the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Izikson earned his Medical Degree at the Health Sciences and Technology Division, Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, in Massachusetts. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lahey Clinical Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts and his residency in Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pennsylvania. Dr. Izikson was also awarded Fellowships in MOHS Micrographic Surgery at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY and in Laser and Cosmetic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Hanna Kim, MD, is Board Certified in Dermatology. Dr. Kim earned her Medical Degree at Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at New York University and residencies in Dermatology at New York University and Boston University/Tufts University. Dr. Kim has also served as an instructor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and as an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.

Rajan Sadagopal K. Subbiah, MD, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care. Dr. Subbiah earned his Medical Degree at Madras Medical College in Chennai, India. He served his residency in Internal Medicine at Madras Medical College and also at Lincoln Medical Center, Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York. Dr. Subbiah was awarded a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.

Craig Nassau van Roekens, MD, MBA, MPH, FACEP, is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Roekens earned his Medical Degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Roekens also received a Masters Degree in Public Health from the Berkley School of Public Health in California.
