Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Laboratory Services
The Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center's laboratory is a full service facility providing tests for inpatients and outpatients in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, blood bank and pathology.
The Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the NYS Department of Health. The laboratory performs 450,000 tests each year. Three pathologists (physicians), 60 technicians, technologists and lab assistants utilize state-of-the-art technology that provides rapid, accurate, high quality test results.
The customer friendly outpatient laboratory is open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Effective Saturday, June 3, 2006 the revised hours of operation for the Good Samaritan Hospital Outpatient Lab are: Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until noon, is located on the first floor of the hospital. You will need a written physician's prescription for laboratory tests.
