The Medical Oncology Infusion Center at Good Samaritan Hospital provides outpatient treatment to adult and geriatric patients with cancer. We provide chemotherapy, blood transfusions, bone marrow biopsy, and other intravenous infusion therapy administered by oncology certified registered nurses. Our concerned staff works with patients from the time of diagnosis through treatment and follow-up to develop successful strategies for meeting their physical and emotional needs as well as the needs of their families.
Our department will coordinate appropriate support services including home care, social work services, pastoral care, nutrition, and hospice, when necessary. The staff works closely with the physician in the planning and administration of treatment. Consultations are performed at the request of referring physicians.
The Department is located on the 4th floor of the hospital.
The Department is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Emergency service can be provided after normal hours and on weekends. For more information about the Medical Oncology Infusion Center and insurance/payment, please contact Elizabeth Glover, R.N., O.C.N at 845-368-8500.
