Dr. Jordan Simon has been practicing orthopedic surgery in Rockland County for 11 years. He is a partner at Orangetown Orthopedic Associates and attending physician at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Nyack Hospitals. He is an assistant clinical professor at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and is currently the President of the Rockland County Medical Society.
Dr. Simon completed two fellowships. The first in Orthopedic Research at the Hospital for Joint Diseases where his research resulted in numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Lake Tahoe Orthopedic Institute where he focused on the treatment of elite athletes.
Dr. Simon graduated with distinction from Cornell University School of Mechanical Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in biomechanical engineering. He went on to New York University School of Medicine where he was selected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Simon performed his surgical internship at NYU Medical Center and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSE
Dr. Simon is board certified in orthopedic surgery and also board certified in sports medicine. He has extensive training and experience in joint replacement. He routinely performs minimally invasive total hip, knee and shoulder replacements. He is certified in the Oxford unicompartmental partial knee replacement as well as the ARCOS modular hip system. Dr. Simon provides individualized care for each patient and carefully plans every joint replacement using a computerized templating system to ensure successful outcomes.
