To the thousands of patients she’s treated over the years, Dr. Karsif embodies the leading-edge knowledge of medicine with humanity. It’s a combination that brings patients true comfort at some of the most stressful and trying times of their lives. She exemplifies our organization’s mission of providing good help to those in need.
Dr. Karsif is a highly skilled physician and board-certified surgeon with more than 21 years of experience devoted entirely to treating breast disease. She received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, completed her internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, and finished her surgical residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
She is known among her patients and colleagues for providing exceptional, compassionate care. In fact, the Susan G. Komen Foundation honored Dr. Karsif with the Gay Clark Stoddard Memorial Award in recognition of the level of care she brings to her patients every day. We’re honored to have her as the visionary for The Center for Breast Health—and to bring you a physician of such caliber.
