Palliative Care at Good Samaritan Hospital aims to relieve suffering and improve quality of life for patients with advanced illness as well as their families. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified healthcare professionals and is especially helpful for patients with such chronic and progressive conditions as cardiac disease, respiratory difficulties, cancer, renal difficulties and HIV/AIDS.

Your Program

Good Samaritan Hospital's Palliative Care program can give you and your loved ones a better understanding of the future course of your illness and can help you make decisions regarding your living situation: continuing to live at home, the need for home healthcare services, assisted living, etc. Together with your physician we will develop a well-rounded palliative care program that will not only relieve your pain, but will address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of you and your loved ones.

Today, there are many effective approaches to managing pain and our palliative care program will assure you that you won’t suffer needlessly. At Good Samaritan we believe in compassionate specialized care. Our highly certified, interdisciplinary team will provide support for you and your entire family, and will work with you to meet your medical needs and enhance your quality of life.
