The Bobbi Lewis Cancer Program—accredited as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons—offers a superior level of care. It’s an approach that’s critical to every element of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Our board-certified oncologists lead a team of dedicated professionals in the diagnosis and management of patients in a comfortable and caring atmosphere. Patients come to us with a wide variety of cancer diagnoses, and we treat them using the latest techniques in cancer therapy to achieve the best outcomes. All while enjoying the comfort of being close to home.
Our Medical Oncology Department provides outpatient cancer treatment to adult and geriatric patients, including:
- Chemotherapy,
- Blood transfusions
- Bone marrow biopsy
- Other intravenous infusion therapy.
All is administered by oncology certified registered nurses, and our entire staff works closely with our physicians who plan and administer your treatment.
You’ll find our staff to be highly experienced and understanding. They’ll work closely with you and your family from your diagnosis, through treatment and follow-up. They’ll also help you and your family develop successful strategies for meeting your physical and emotional needs. That includes coordinating any appropriate support services you may need, such as home care, social work services, pastoral care, nutrition, and hospice, if necessary. For us, cancer care encompasses treating and caring for the whole person.
